The Atlantic City Polar Bears will make their 24th annual plunge into the Atlantic City Ocean in front of Resorts Casino Hotel at noon on New Year’s Day. This year’s plunge will benefit the Multiple Sclerosis Association of America, a national organization dedicated to enriching the quality of life for everyone affected by Multiple Sclerosis. Monetary donations can be made by visiting atlanticcitypolarbearclub.com or by purchasing a T-shirt at the event. The Polar Bears will ‘swim’ whether there is rain, sleet, snow or hail. To join them for the big New Year’s Day Plunge, come in a bathing suit (no wet suits allowed – that’s cheating).
